Tears of Yesterday

Bethany Cooley is a nine year old girl with two siblings spending their time between their divorced parents. It is during one of their weekend visitations at their fathers, their mother has forgotten to pick them up. What happened to their mother? Did she really forget them? Told through the eyes of a young girl growing up as she moves from place to place, her young heart asking questions and looking for answers she never knew she was asking. Will she find out why their mother abandoned them? Why was their dad so abusive? Will she ever find a safe place to call home?
