Whaley County is a backwoods bit of nowhere run by a gangster sheriff and a meth savant. Patrolling the highways is Deputy Ramsey, an Iraq war hero so straight-laced she couldn't possibly be a psychotic drug addict. But after curb-stomping the wrong tweaker, Ramsey suddenly finds herself trapped between her boss's drug-running empire, a gang of racist gun nuts, and an attack of killer potatoes.
