Tales from the Trig Points -- The Discovery

"As he bent down to get a closer look he jumped back in surprise. Half trapped by the rock was what looked vaguely like one of those gnomes he'd seen in people's gardens. However, this one was very different; he was alive for a start and his features were wrinkly, with spikey hair protruding from all over his face" Nine-year-old Jonathan sets out on his own one night in search of answers to what is missing from his life. Then he meets Freddie, a Trignome who lives inside a trig point. Freddie is desperate for help with a mysterious mission and Jonathan feels compelled to go along with him, not least because Freddie is rather threatening... They embark upon an adventure of a lifetime and learn about friendship, loyalty and what to do when things go wrong.
