I have been working for many years for nature conservation in Africa. When my daughters were very young, I missed several of their birthdays, while I was in the field, so I started drawing and sending them these little tales, made with the limited means I could find in the forest. I wanted to teach them very necessary values, such as friendship, empathy, respect for the different, solidarity and compassion. I hope these tales may now help many other children around the world to understand these values, while they also learn to love nature.
