Six levels climb this 64 inch tower over a 23 by 23 inch base, spaced so a cat moves up in steady hops rather than long jumps. The thickened boards and stout support posts hold their shape under repeated landings, which is where thin particle board towers begin to sag within a year. A square condo measuring 19 by 19 by 14.5 inches sits within the frame, unusually roomy for a cat that sleeps stretched out, and its slatted sides let light and air through while a large entrance plus an 8 inch cat hole give two exits. The removable cushion inside lifts out for washing. A 20 by 16 by 4.5 inch top perch finishes the climb with Pp cotton padding for a soft landing. Engineered wood and fabric build the 45.5 lb tower, whose slat detailing suits a modern living room or a bright bedroom corner. Assembly is required, and the cat hole measures 8 inches across for an adult.
