Bookshelf first and cat tower second, this 31.5 by 12 by 46 inch cabinet divides into eight sections for books, plants, photo frames and pet supplies while two round cat holes turn the same grid into a climbing route. That dual purpose suits a small apartment where a dedicated cat tower and a bookcase would compete for the same wall. Multiple levels let a cat climb, jump and lounge among the shelves, and each tier carries up to 22 lbs. The shallow 12 inch depth keeps the piece close to the wall in a hallway or a home office. Engineered wood construction weighs 44 lbs assembled, giving the cabinet enough mass to stay put when a cat leaps between openings rather than rocking with the movement. Assembly is required, and the cabinet stands 46 inches tall over a 31.5 inch width. Two cat holes connect the sections into a climbing path. Open compartments alternate with closed ones through the grid.
