Suddenly Gone

From the day they met, Jack and Emily were destined to be together, at least that is what Jack thought. Jack showered her with gifts but she was hesitant to take the bait, thinking it was just a ploy to take advantage of her. He was a successful lawyer in New York and she, being a waitress at a small cafe, did not feel that she was good enough for him. She soon caved to his rugged good looks and quick-whit.
