Frustrated college English professor Ted (Stanley Tucci), bored with his mundane marriage and dealing with writer's block, is suddenly inspired by promising female student Angela (Addison Timlin). His interest in her soon evolves into an obsession, turning the teacher-student relationship into one of manipulation and exploitation.
