Stranger on the Fens

Following a row with his girlfriend, Jane, Chris Price goes walking on the snowy Fens to try to find her. When he is overtaken by hypothermia, he awakes to find himself in the same place... but in a different time! Taken in by the kindly Doctor Mayfield, Chris discovers that he has somehow been transported back in time to 1898. He soon realises that the Doctor's housemaid Emily is in fact Jane in a previous incarnation; the couple plan to wed, but their plans are threatened by the release from jail of Emily's villainous brother, Ed. And besides, part of Chris longs to return to 2008... Torn between his parallel lives, and drawn into a murderous plot by the dastardly Ed Todd, which life will Chris choose - and will he survive in either?
