Stonewalling in Bloomington, MN

Stonewalling, directed by Huang Ji and Ry?ji Otsuka, dramatizes the very real situation of pregnancy and the one-child policy in China. Lynn is a 20-year-old gig worker who finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy. Her parents, who own a fertility clinic, are sued for a stillbirth. Lynn decides to solve her problem and that of her parents by offering her child in lieu of other compensation. In addition to solving these issues, Lynn also avoids an equally unwanted abortion.
