Stardust for Butterfly Wings

I have always been in love with books. I used to spend my summers reading and it is still one of my favorite activities. Poetry has always been an escape for me, a means of expressing myself , giving me the freedom of playing with the words as I pleased. The first poem I wrote when I was about 10 years old, but more seriously in high school.
