Sour Water in Bloomington, MN

Gunfire erupts as recently hired engineer Liz Crawford leaves work. She is hit by a bullet and the young woman behind her is killed. The police quickly arrest the woman's husband, but Liz worries they have it wrong. She meets with the accused killer and checks his story. Soon after, she thwarts a second attack. Someone is trying to kill her-but who and why? All she knows is that to survive, she must find those answers before her luck runs out. But as she claws her way toward the truth and the killer, she also confronts the realization that her well intentioned actions have had horrendous consequences.
