What I learned is that each of us has our own way of communicating, our own way of reaching others. But we can only do this if we're invited into a community of genuine love and listening. Solitary Genius is my recollection of this remarkable year. I met and fell in love with a group of children (all of whom were entering school for the first time) of undeniable intelligence who simply needed a different kind of educational support to be heard and to succeed.
