Slivers of me... Chronicles of Ethiopia's Generation X. in Bloomington, MN

Author's note.
The focus of this book starts with the baby boomer aka the revolutionary Generation post-World War II, which was typically endowed with modern education, knowledge, and the hunger for development, civilization and change. The socioeconomic and political changes that happened during the time of this generation had a serious ripple effect and heterogeneity on generation X in Ethiopia.
I reflect on the situations that happened in my home city Addis Ababa at the time of my childhood during the Haile Selassie Era, and touch my experience of adolescence, in university and my work life in the rest of Ethiopia during the Dergue and EPRDF eras. Although my journey indicates a story which is like a drop in the ocean, it is also my hope that members of my generation get the motivation to write their views and experiences in their future books.
This book is dedicated to all Ethiopians who sacrificed their lives for the good of their country and its people.
