Things are going pretty well for headstrong sixteen-year-old Debbie Benson, who lives on a thoroughbred ranch with her family in Maryland. She is surrounded by lifelong friends and is the proud owner of Native Skylark, one of the most prized sires in the industry. When her father is offered a job in Atlanta, Debbie's world begins to crumble.
