This is a different kind of devotional. Why not use the tried and true format where every day you have a scripture and a commentary? I love that kind of devotional, but sometimes it's hard to get to it each day. This devotional is driven by contemplating how God speaks to us in the movement of the seasons. Sometimes, our lives do not match the outside world. The days may be warm and sunny, but we are in a winter of despondency or pain. The cold may be gripping the land, but we are walking in the sunshine of His embrace. We may be feeling excitement of new life in our hearts.
