This book is goofy. If you can't stand monster cacophonies, or new-fangled words like antinonconforminpoop, or sneaky undertones of sex and revolt, this book is not for you. But there are redemptive moments. For example, minimal art gets whacked. And "To A Mockingbird" soars with Shelley and Poe into the avian poetry hall of fame.
