I commend Perry Soh for this well-written book, sharing so transparently his life journey as a follower of Jesus Christ. Perry is a special friend and brother in Christ and we served together in the early years of the Malaysian-Singaporean Bible Church in Toronto. I served as their first pastor (part-time) in 1984-1985 and Perry was the lead elder in the church. I have many fond and warm memories of our time and service together. We experienced the Lord's presence and blessings in seeing this fledgling church grew from about 50 to 100 people when I left to join the faculty of the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. This is a helpful and inspiring book, written with powerful stories and testimonies that chronicle the many steps of faith and events in Perry's journey and the ups and downs of the church since it started in 1981. Now known by its new name, Toronto Life-Spring Christian Fellowship, the church is richly blessed to have a younger generation actively engaging in missions and outreach to spread the Gospel of God's kingdom in Toronto and abroad.
