Scandemonium: A Grocery Store Tale

From the joy of exchanging Christmas cookies with the customers to the despair of gathering carts in the rain, every day in a small-town grocery store has something to offer. These days, that's more than the employees bargained for. With new managers, new dress codes and new policies coming from all angles, they rely on each other to maintain their sanity. Melissa, the bookkeeper, has a mystery to solve. Someone is embezzling funds, and everyone who investigates gets fired. For Andy, a part-time stocker, the store is another link to his Alzheimer's-stricken grandfather. He lives for the "good days" when Grandpa can be proud of his work ethic. Working days, Taylor derives great enjoyment from a fairly regular customer base. She rarely meets anyone who can't be won over with kindness, and has plenty of that to spare. Omen considers her co-workers close family; the customers are more distantly related. When her world falls apart, they are her comfort and the store is a refuge.
