On his first album as Sbach for the Suicide Squeeze label, multi-instrumentalist Spencer Seim (Hella, the Advantage) offers up a frenetic set of jagged guitars, whirring keyboards, and crazy-quilt rhythms. While the record hits mesmerizing grooves (see the digital dreaminess of "6"), it also occasionally careens into rambunctious free-jazz-like passages, as on the fierce "4."
