Saving Grace in Bloomington, MN

A young girl (Grace) loses her husband in death and an angel named Spirit is being interviewed by a reporter named Mercy. Spirit has a job to save Grace. Grace falls into a deep depression over her young husband's death and she is slowly dying. Spirit brings her attention to a German Shepherd pup that has been hit by the road and Grace takes it home with her. The puppy grows with grace and she ends up loving it so much. But the pup keeps Grace alive because she knows it needs her.
