Salassa's Epiphany

It's 1904, and Salassa guesses she's about 16 years old. She has never seen her birth certificate. Her mother and grandmother have both abandoned her, and her beau leaves her at an Arlington "Home for Erring Girls." But Salassa makes new friends, Miranda and Paul (from my previous ). They realize her goodness and her ambition. She travels to Bosque County to stay with Miranda and Paul and to learn new skills. Salassa also discovers faith.
