Running on Karma [Blu-ray] in Bloomington, MN

One of four features from the Hong Kong filmmaking duo of Johnny To and Wai Ka-Fai to be released in 2003, Running on Karma is an action thriller with spiritual overtones about a former monk and a female police officer. Andy Lau is Dai Jet Lo, an exotic dancer who left a monastery after the murder of a close friend. Armed with a sixth sense that allows him to see cause and consequence, he now seeks to bring justice to the killer. Along the way, Dai Jet Lo meets a cop, played by Cecilia Cheung, who is destined to die young and violently. Together, the pair set out to oppose fate.
