ROSALIE Volume 1: The peregrinations of youth

In the middle of the 18th century, at the Château de la Bastide in the Bas Vivarais, on the borders of the Haut Languedoc, a young woman gives birth to a baby girl. Her father was a consul in the town of Joyeuse, one of the richest landowners in the duchy, after the Rohan-Soubise family.
