Angus Maclean inherits an old castle and a secret hidden within his grandfather's papers. Soon he finds himself on a humorous jaunt in his quest to find the ancient Stone of Destiny, on which early Scottish Kings - and since 1603 all British Kings - have been crowned. Encouraged by a girl, Sarah, who he meets on a train, they research thousands of years of history to track it down but there are gangsters and thugs who are also interested in the stone and who will go to any lengths to get their hands on it. From the tops of mountains to deep underground, Angus is helped by a modern day ghost that communicates hilariously via a mongrel dog. With fun, adventure and not a little confusion the group reach a quirky finale. Will Angus find love while looking for the secrets of the stone? Does it really have magical properties and will they ever find it?
