Growing up in a small seaside town, nine-year-old Robbie Raccoon had heard stories all his life about a possible secret treasure hidden somewhere nearby. Many believed the treasure was left by the famous Blackbear the Pirate! One of those people was Robbie's very own grandfather, who told Robbie stories of golden treasure hidden on an island in the swamp on his family's property.
Robbie inherited a small sailboat and an old seaman's trunk from his grandfather, and he believed the contents of the trunk might hold clues to help him with his quest. Robbie dreamed that someday he would be the one to finally find the hidden treasure and end up the hero of the small town.
He plans to search for it one summer and is joined on his adventure by his two best friends, Jimmy Fox and Chester Squirrel.
The spirited trio hopes this will be the year that the secret of Blackbear the Pirate is finally revealed and that they are the ones to find sweet success!
