The action sequel to the 2013 film follows the latest mission led by the Rest In Peace Department in 1876. After a fatal shootout, sheriff (Jeffrey Donovan) Roy Pulsipher is defeated by a gang of outlaws. But his skills don't go to waste. The R.I.P.D recruits him to save the world from a sinister gateway that mysteriously opens in Red Creek. He must take charge and do whatever it takes to accomplish this once-in-a-lifetime mission.
