RIOT Force: Tools of the Rich tells the story of a wisecracking law enforcement team who have to fight an escaped ecoterrorist with a mysterious personal grudge against their leader while thwarting the plans of a corporate crime boss who's out to replace them with his own cybernetic crime fighting creations and trying to stop a nuclear weapon from blowing up the whole city... all while not killing each other in the process!
The year is 2045 -- as if civil unrest, climate change, and mass poverty weren't bad enough, the world has witnessed the rise of a new breed of technological robber barons who every month unleash new horros seemingly beyond the reach of law.
The federal government creates a task force of militarized police, including specialists in reconnaissance, intelligence, operations and tactics and gives them carte blanche to keep the simmering stew pot of domestic unrest from boiling over.
However, the formation of a visible symbol of authority only creates an arms race of the weird, the desperate, and the opportunistic. Soon, this new task force finds themselves battling mutant frogmen, mad bombers, and ninjas in fighter jets.
