Rio's Premier Gold XP is one of the most versatile floating fly lines you'll find on the market. It will let you efficiently fish all types of flies, from streamers to nymphs and dries. Weighing a half-size heavy and equipped with a mid-length head, it lets you carry line for longer casts while still being able to quickly load the rod for shorter casts.
Medium-long rear taper allows line control for longer presentations and on-the-water mending.
SlickCast coating technology creates the slickest, most durable fly lines on the market and the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.
Lab tests show that lines built with SlickCast have the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.
Versatile design is capable of turning over heavier rigs on shorter leaders, tiny dry flies on long leaders and everything in between.
A half-size heavier, it loads the rod well for short casts.
