collects the latest oil paintings by Austrian painter Richard Kaplenig (born 1963). In this series, Kaplenig produces monochromatic, hyper realistic paintings of small everyday objects—light bulbs, gears, screws, a syringe, a vase of water—at large scale and in isolation from their typical context.
