There is a certain rhythm to war. Even if you pick up the rhythm and dance in tune, you may not make it to the final number. If you do come out all right, the rhythm stays with you for the rest of your life. Someone said "no one likes rhyming poetry any more." That may be true. But along with rhythm there's rhyme and meter and beat ... as well as bullets. This collection of the author is pulled from his own highly personal experiences in Vietnam, Grenada, the Cold War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. For the most part, the verses rhyme and carry the rhythm of war.
