Collection of the lives of United States Veterans of African American descent. The Veterans chose mental health therapy to assist in adjusting to military and civilian life transitions. Veterans are not understood (we do not hear their stories) leading to fear and misinformation. This series allows the reader to view within the causes of mental health symptoms, the need of family active involvement in the Veteran's life, and the needs of continual positive community support.
