Reflections Of Women Warriors: Poetry to Ponder

Since the beginning of life itself, warriors have fought to uphold their beliefs. Some used weapons, others used words and still others had only their wits to rely on. However, all methods resulted in the same outcome. They orchestrated the events that shaped their future. History tells us about the deeds of a few, but there are many unknown warriors as well, unsung heroes forgotten and lost in time. Fourteen female warriors both famous and unnamed are showcased in this book of poetry. Each poem attempts to give voice to the innermost thoughts and emotions that may have driven their spirits to achieve the greatness that was theirs.
