Dylan, an icon of the sixties, sings, "The times they are a changin" but for down and out Bob Macchi, change is the farthest thing from his mind. When he picks up the beautiful hippie girl, on the Maine Turnpike, he thinks he's just having company for the long lonely ride home to Massachusetts. He doesn't know that his life is about to change forever as he dumps his ideals and goals for this mysterious girl.
