What is a Lumbersexual? Are you a Lumbersexual? Have you ever been called a "Hipster" or "Metrosexual," but you enjoy the outdoors? Do you enjoy hunting and fishing but live in the city? Do you live in the suburbs but dream of one day living off the land? Do you live in the country or on a farm but are civilized and enjoy the finer things in life. Are you a man who is tough and rugged but also enjoys haute cuisine? Then you are a Lumbersexual.
Lumbersexuals are tough and sexy. Rugged and refined. Lumbersexuals are most often men but they can be women. Lumbersexuals were once called "Hipsters" but have found that the term "Hipster" was too confining. The term "Hipster" describes a fashionable person, but it does not allow for the ruggedness of those of us who enjoy nature and outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting or camping. It doesn't describe those of us who enjoy living off the land and being self sufficient. In the past there were "Mountain Men" but this term described the self sufficient who are unrefined. We needed a term that brought the two sides of the personality together. Introducing the "Lumbersexual!"
