Rattling My Ancestors Bones in Bloomington, MN

Joan Boyd was born in Toronto, Ontario, daughter of Isabel McCarthy and William Charles Hockley. She was a member of the Marketing Faculty of Humber College following a stellar career as senior buyer and manager with two retail chains. In addition, she led Executive Development workshops for women and men in Canada, the United States and Bangladesh.
In retirement Joan writes nonfiction stories. Her compassionate approach has brought to life the pain and suffering of soldiers during and after the war in three books.
Joan makes her home in Toronto with her husband David Boyd.
