In this opening to the Rapunculus Series, Urdhr, an aging witch living alone in the Great Forest, uses magic to create for herself the perfect daughter and companion, Rapunculus. Rapunculus is a great beauty but sadly doesn't possess a functioning heart and is incapable of love or happiness. Rapunculus's beauty ultimately proves to be a problem however, when she attracts the attention of Circium, a handsome prince with narcissistic personality disorder, and his morbidly depressed stable boy, Fritz. Chaos quickly ensues, leading to a series of terrifying and hilarious misadventures in this twisted take on classic fairytales.
