QUAESITUM: That Which Is Sought in Bloomington, MN

Impetuous Macarius Gregory leads a quixotic lifestyle as a petroleum engineer. While in Berlin, he is mistaken for a hitman by a jilted lover, who refers to him as Mr. X. Intrigued, Macarius accepts the job and heads to Mexico to search for Remy Preciado, whom the lover claims faked her death to leave him. Macarius visits San Miguel de Allende with his best friend, Jeremy, never realizing that the winds of fate are brewing a storm. Betrayal and deception lie beneath the masks and friendship.
