Psychedelic Prophet: The Messenger

Northeast Philly 2004 A clandestine agent from the stars, recruits a band of eclectic prospects to help him accomplish a perilous mission. He misrepresents himself as 'The Messenger'. A biblical-like prophet launches a new religion. When his recruits turn him on to The Grateful Dead the fun really begins. This cat can heal the stricken by manipulating the forces of nature. Yet, even using these uncanny abilities, this mission proves treacherous. Unbeknownst to him, a fierce adversary tracks him to Earth. Bent on crushing The Messenger and his followers. Impressed with The Grateful Dead, he communicates with Jerry Garcia's spirit. Garcia agrees to help him on his quest. But there are many who want him stopped at any cost. Including religious fanatics, a black-caped nemesis, and a wealthy realtor, who has a personal vendetta. Paranormal and political satire abound, in a story that touches every aspect of our harried life.
