Some have concluded that our nation under the Trump administration is more divided than it has been since the Civil War. It's no coincidence then, that a term originating during that war has resurfaced. The term "snowflake" is now a euphemism for liberal and liberal-leaning Americans used by the alt-right. Many, however, don't know that the same term was originally used to describe those who opposed the abolition of slavery -- ironically, the same group who would be considered alt-right today. This "adult storybook" is a lighthearted rhyme that will put a smile on the faces of we modern day "snowflakes."
