Propheties de fin du monde et peur des Turcs au XVe siecle: Ottomans, Antichrist, Apocalypse in Bloomington, MN

This work examines the relationship between Western eschatological thinking in the fifteenth century and fear of the Turks. It shows how theologians updated old medieval prophecies so that they could interpret the growing power of the Ottoman Empire as a sign of the end of the world.
