Pro domo: Kunstgeschichte in eigener Sache in Bloomington, MN

This volume examines the ways in which art historical discourse is shaped by parties directly surrounding artists. The volume analyses instances of partisan art historiography from the 15th century until now. In doing so, it also asks what this PRO DOMO principle means for art history today.
