Pressured

Nothing goes for nothing is a popular saying among our people and a corresponding index that stimulate most affairs of life. There must always be a propelling force from somewhere that poses as a stimulant to motivate or push someone to act or follow a course of action. Such actions were examined in this book and found to be the determinant factors responsible for most reactions and activities that took place in this work of art. Pressured to act is very distinct in the overall tone of this work. Every action triggered is preceded by pressure which leads to more and more actions and pressures which eventually culminate in a rugged and endearing solution for the problems ignited. It started from the beginning of this work with the prophecies of Ekemma and moved steadfastly to the end with the release of Egboka and other warriors of Abaji land and the neighbouring villages followed with massive financial gains for them and their unborn generations. It flourished like the noisy cracks of fireworks thereby creating joy amidst pain and agony. It is a known fact that actions stimulate emotions which in turn stir predictable and unpredictable responses or reactions but in this regard, there was a usual common blend of furor from positive to positive and from negative to negative till a quintessential change of purpose and action was reached and achieved. The book is a great work of art and is made to encourage submission, uprightness, good living standards, acceptable communal lifestyle, bonding and integration, peace, and high moral virtues against greed, falsehood, envy, division, defamation, anarchy, oppression, evil schemings, suppression, disunity, abduction and other vices common to human societies. Negative action triggers negative reprisal and should be highly avoided if peace should reign in our societies whereas some negative actions end up pushing you to your desired haven or at even peristalsis of promotion and favour with your oppressor. - Chignan, May 2022.
