Precious Embers: a life story

This book is a record of the memories and experiences of a Black man who came of age in Mississippi during the Vietnam era and the Civil Rights movement. It is his own version of his life through his voice and eyes. It recognizes important people and recalls events and situations that provided him learning and gave his life meaning. It is meant to be a call to his family to explore, preserve, value, and document its own history. The author believes this story provides a message that is relevant to all.
