Praying Through 2025 in Bloomington, MN

Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and first commandment" (Matthew 22:37-38). It is clear from the scriptures that the most important thing is to love God, easier said than done. Many people might ask, how does one love God? My encouragement to you in 2025 is to think of your relationship with God like you think of the other people you love in life. I suspect with these people you spend time, listen closely, share your heart, occasionally wrestle with, think deeply with and more. It is the same set of behaviors that will help us to love God better. The founder of Methodism, John Wesley, said we ought to attend to the ordinances of our faith daily - a fancy way of saying to practice our spiritual life.
