For centuries Western thought has been dominated by a concept that limits reality to materialism. The unseen is considered to be imagination and superstition. Materialism occupies the parietal lobe of our brain, and as a consequence we have neglected the abstract capabilities of our frontal and prefrontal lobes. However, the old paradigm is beginning to shift. Quantum physics has been gestating for the required hundred years, and it is sprouting new vines in the vineyards of academia. Simple logic: if matter is energy and comes from waves or particles that have been observed by consciousness, then consciousness must predate matter. Life which is necessary for consciousness could not have evolved from inanimate matter, because matter evolved from the observation of consciousness. Conclusion: reality is unseen and matter is a reflection of consciousness. As Jesus taught in The Essene Gospel of Peace, "Thought is the most powerful force." Any set of circumstances at any given moment can have an infinite number of outcomes, and the outcome is determined by what we believe. Do we believe in materialism in the parietal, or can we unleash the creativity of faith in the frontal lobes?
