The generation of traditional energy models in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region has recently changed dramatically. The intelligent power system integrated into the GCC area becomes unpredictable as the industry undergoes massive changes in electricity production and distribution. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of the terms Loss of Load Probability (LOLP), Loss of (LOLE) and (EENS) are calculated to help in the plan, design, operation and maintenance of the electric power system. It could be defined as the 'Expected Energy Unserved' with abbreviation (EEU). The terms LOLP and LOLE are required when the loss of load occurred as the electric load exceeds the available generating capacity of the system. The LOLP is the probability measurement that a power system demand exceeding the available capacity during a given period. Both terms LOLE and EENS should not be taken to mean there will be that number of blackouts. The loss of load expectation (LOLE) term is considered as an acceptable security standard across most of the national electricity systems. The models of the loss's indices obtained for different cases in the study.
