These love poems to God are the chronicle of one woman's 38-year search for mystical union. At times ecstatic with the Divine presence, at times despairing in pangs of separation or lost in the chaos of longing, but always raw and from the heart, these poems portray the author's journey into a living relationship with the Divine, as she lives an ordinary life. The author's spiritual practice is based on the Bhakti Yoga or devotional path of India that embraces all the ways by which a human soul can love the Divine. However, the experiences in these poems belong to all seekers who follow a devotional path to God regardless of their spiritual tradition.
