The plot begins with the disgruntled reindeer, who suddenly have their diets changed to avoid the issue of flatulence pollution. Then the charges mount up against Santa, and readers will definitely have a few giggles as they follow the poor old elf as he struggles with his mounting dilemmas. The story is told in simple language so young readers can easily follow along.
The illustrations are bright, bold, and colorful, certainly adding to the holiday spirit and the building tension between the North Pole and the world beyond. Buried within this delightful North Pole romp, is a powerful message for everyone: "Be Good, Be Kind."
