PINK FLOYD: "E" is for "ECHOES"

British progressive rock group Pink Floyd released 15 studio albums between 1967 and 2014 (there was a 20 year gap between the 14th and 15th). Their original lead singer ceased to be a member of the band two months prior to the release of their second album (June 1968). After enormous global success and releasing two of the most famous albums in history, their bass player and primary songwriter left in 1985 for a solo career. The band carried on for three more albums released over a time period from 1987 - 2014. This project focuses on the era of the five studio albums released between 1969 and 1972, with a couple songs from late 1968 as well.
